Job Overview

The Salesforce Hyperforce Infrastructure Integration and Qualification team is hiring! We work in a fast paced environment to bring advanced Database infrastructure to transform Salesforce to the age of Public Cloud and Agentic AI. We provide the most adaptive engineering productivity tools to allow Salesforce developers to become productive and efficient while perfecting the principles of software engineering excellences. We are looking for a software engineer who is enthusiastic on perfecting software development experiences and excited on working with public cloud technologies.

Required Skills and Experiences  

• Experience with Python programming, including experience with core language features, libraries, and frameworks. Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. 

• Experience with major cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Ability to deploy, manage, and scale applications in a cloud environment. 

• Proficiency in Linux system administration, with a focus on RedHat-based distributions. Ability to manage system configurations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. 

• Proficiency with Software Development Life Cycle process. Have good understanding of Git and GitHub, experience with branching, merging, and pull requests in a collaborative development environment.

• Experience in engineering excellence on Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and code coverage

• Experience in workflow Orchestration System such as Jenkins

Nice to Have Skills and Experience 

• Familiarity with cloud services including computing, storage, databases, and networking. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus. 

• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). Ability to design and optimize database schemas and queries. 

• Experience with writing and maintaining unit tests using frameworks such as pytest or unittest. Understanding of test-driven development (TDD) principles and practices. 

• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI, and familiarity with development tools like pip, Virtualenv, and Jupyter notebooks. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Develop and Maintain Software: Write, test, and optimize Python code, leveraging core language features, libraries, and frameworks to build robust software solutions. 

• Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy and scale applications using major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and handle cloud-based infrastructure and services. 

• Administer Systems and APIs: Perform Linux system administration (RedHat-based), design and develop RESTful or GraphQL APIs, and manage version control with Git. 

• Enhance and Collaborate: Contribute to code reviews, maintain high coding standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and improvements.
