About the role:
We are looking for an experienced software engineering manager to join our compliance and customer service platform team. As the Software Engineering Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to scale and modernize our compliance system that already handles about 1 million of compliance transactions daily. This role is an integral part of our mission to foster a safe and thriving online community. You will lead a team of talented engineers in designing, developing, and delivering our compliance tool, ensuring that our platform upholds the highest standards of safety and compliance. Your expertise will be crucial in protecting our users, safeguarding their privacy, and promoting a positive and inclusive online experience.
Requirements
About you:

• You're an expert in Python and JavaScript with strong Django experience.
• Successfully led a team of yourself and at least two other engineers that delivered a fantastic website.
• You are interested in project management techniques and enjoy optimizing work processes.
• Able to recognize talent, set OKRs, and create personalized growth plans.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Kanban and Lean methodologies.

The Base Salary range for this position is $180,000-$225,000 USD annually. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position. A candidate's specific pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills, relevant education, training, experience, certifications, and abilities of the candidate, as well as other factors unique to each candidate.
