Description
Iterative Scopes is seeking a manager for their platform engineering teams. The successful candidate will be part of the engineering leadership team and manage a group of frontend, backend and data engineers. They work collaboratively with our product, machine learning and clinical teams to deliver quality products on time. The candidate will have a track record of leading teams in a scaling agile software development organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and impact of their team
• Collaborate with a cross functional team that include Product, Machine Learning, Clinical, and Regulatory affairs
• Work with direct reports to understand their motivations and develop their career paths
• Formulate an effective strategy for recruiting and retaining high performing and collaborative engineers

Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in computer science or other quantitative fields, or Bachelor of Science with similar practical experience in an industrial or research setting.
• 6+ Years' experience in software development
• 2+ Years experience in leading or managing engineering teams
• 1+ years experience in cloud computing systems with microservices or data pipelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to describe complex technical concepts to colleagues with varying degrees of technical background

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
• Knowledge of computer vision tasks including detection, segmentation, and classification
• Experience working with more data types (e.g. EMR, genomics, biometrics, images).
• Experience deploying machine learning models to production
• Experience working in startup environments
