Software Engineering Manager, Growth

Overview

• Lead and develop a high-performing team by driving recruitment efforts, providing mentorship, and demonstrating strong leadership.
• Strategically plan, prioritize, and oversee project execution to ensure successful delivery of key initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments to optimize workflows and maximize the capabilities of the MarTech platform.
• Assess and integrate vendor solutions to meet engineering and business objectives efficiently and cost-effectively. Make decisions between build vs buy.
• Serve as an engineering architect, guiding technical direction, making critical architectural decisions, and developing technical roadmaps to align with business goals.
• Engage in hands-on coding and prototyping to validate concepts, expedite execution, and deepen your understanding of the codebase as you expand the team into a fully-fledged organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in managing, leading, and inspiring a team of engineers, including hiring, retaining, and managing performance.
• 5+ years of work experience in a software engineering role, with proven technical leadership skills and expertise in designing scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions.
• Proficient in agile team software development and strong project management, delivering complex projects within defined timelines and resource constraints.
• Adept at collaborating cross-functionally, communicating effectively, and aligning efforts to achieve common goals.
• Passionate about technology, staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
• Experience working with both frontend and backend
• (Preferred) Startup experience
