We are currently in search of a passionate individual who thrives on driving software projects to success. Someone who can bring an environment of fun and fellowship, and curiosity beyond software as you guide our team through every phase of new software development. From envisioning requirements to executing design, implementation, integration, testing, and documentation, you will be the catalyst for innovation.

In this role you will:

  • Perform project planning activities and handle the software project schedule
  • Act as a Scrum Master for the software team
  • Gather and retain performance metrics in support of continuous improvement
  • Ensure the team's compliance with software standards as well as company procedures. Execute quality assurance activities such as risk analysis, software deliverable technical reviews and code inspections
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure the success of the team
  • Assign work in support of both project deliverables and individual team members' career development
  • Understand the full scope of the project and translate it for the software team

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • Understanding of writing and assembling software. Passion for learning new technologies and domains and a desire to make software that delights users
  • Leadership and a desire to manage a team to build great products and a proven track record of delivering projects on time
  • Excellent time management, meeting facilitation, communication, and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively

This role, while advertised online in many cities is ONLY AVAILABLE onsite at our Indianapolis facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or equivalent discipline
  • 7+ years of related experience including 1+ years of experience leading a team producing products which include software

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working on projects that involve both software and hardware components
  • Software development experience in the life sciences domain and/or cloud-connected software
  • Experience in the development of biotech devices and a solid understanding of FDA Quality System Regulation
