Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Software Engineer - Node.JS at M3 Global Research, an M3 company.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate would demonstrate an understanding of software development concepts and development lifecycles using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted design patterns and practices. You'll be responsible for assisting with system design, coding, improving application performance, collaborating with other developers, and assisting with testing.

• Design, implement and deliver highly scalable solutions based on modern cloud-based architectures
• Continuously develop, release, monitor and improve our systems and services
• Set and actively promote software development processes and best practices
• Partner with product managers, designers and engineers across the organization to shape high impact solutions and deliver high-quality applications
• Be responsible, keep the scope and deliver iteratively
• Deliver high-quality applications
• Ensure continued good performance of applications
• Adopt zero-tolerance for errors in production
• Engage with team and keep positive culture

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering experience building complex web-based systems
• This is a player/coach position and we are targeting someone with 2+ years of experience managing a small team of developers. 
• 2+ years of experience with Node.JS
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+/TypeScript) and Node.js
• Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Experience designing and building microservices and distributed systems
• Familiarity with containers is a bonus (Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh)
• Programming best practices, Clean Architecture, SOLID, DDD
• Extensive experience writing automated tests (Unit, e2e)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
