Software Engineering Principal Architect

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineering Platform Architect to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, architecture design, and experience in developing AI solutions in cloud environments.

As a Software Engineering Platform Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud-based platforms to deliver scalable and innovative solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance cloud-based platforms for AI applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers to define platform requirements and develop solutions.
• Optimize platform performance, reliability, and security through continuous monitoring, testing, and refinement.
• Ensure applications security by implementing robust authentication, authorization, and data protection measures.
• Lead the development and implementation of AI algorithms, models, and applications in cloud environments.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in AI, cloud computing, and software engineering.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (15+ years) in software engineering, architecture design, and development of cloud-based platforms.
• Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java C# or Python.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and scalability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Expertise in implementing security best practices and protocols for cloud-based-platforms, ensuring data privacy, confidentiality and integrity
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile applications design and delivery is a plus.
• Certified Cloud Practitioner (AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with big data technologies and analytics platforms.
• Contributions to open-source projects or relevant certifications are a plus.

This position offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (2 days a week in office), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
