Software Engineering Tech Lead, Developer Productivity

We're looking for a Software Engineering Tech Lead, Developer Productivity to join Snap!
What you'll do:

• Provide technical leadership for Snap's Developer Productivity team, responsible for the tools and services used by Snap developers to build features and services for Snapchat
• Own core technical challenges for Snap around source control, continuous integration and deployment, testing, and other developer tools
• Help increase the productivity and efficiency of thousands of engineers by incorporating the latest industry best practices, AI and ML-based innovation, and evolution of Snap-specific solutions that support the scale and complexity of Snapchat

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with large-scale, distributed software development for mobile applications and distributed systems
• Expertise in operational excellence with mission critical, complex, engineering platforms
• Effectiveness at leading and executing large, complex technical initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent industry experience
• Experience with developer tools including source control, continuous integration and deployment systems, and testing frameworks
• 14+ years of industry experience with large-scale software infrastructure and/or mobile application development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent industry experience
• 14+ years of industry experience with developer tools and platform, including source control, continuous integration and deployment, and testing frameworks
• Experience with industry standard developer tools and developer experience technologies for both iOS and Android mobile platforms as well as backend service development, for common languages and runtimes including C++, Java, golang, and others

Compensation
In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

• Zone A (CA, WA, NYC) : The base salary range for this position is $265,000 - $385,000 annually.
• Zone B : The base salary range for this position is $252,000- $366,000 annually.
• Zone C : The base salary range for this position is $225,000 - $327,000 annually.
• This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
