About the Role

We’re a collaborative team of product managers, designers, backend, frontend, and quality automation engineers that genuinely enjoys working together. We are looking for a new team member who has passion for building great products with simplicity, usability, scalability, and reliability in mind.

This is a work-from-home or hybrid opportunity based in Kraków, Poland. Candidates must be based in the area of Krakow, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver a consistent, delightful and seamless user experience
• Evolve a shared React Frontend component library and design system
• Develop key shared services for search, notifications, and other cross-cutting concerns
• Support other teams in using and integrating services and solutions provided by the Experience Foundations team
• Collaborate with engineers to shape future-proof interfaces that are easy to build against and meet the requirements of customer- and internal-facing teams
• Apply and evolve engineering best practices for consistent code patterns, style, and quality
• Produce high-quality results by consulting on and contributing to large cross-functional projects that have a significant impact on the business

Qualifications

• Strong technical background, including 3+ years of experience working on large-scale React-based web applications with TypeScript and a JVM-based backend, preferably Kotlin
• Strong understanding of building robust and secure REST and/or gRPC-based service integrations
• Familiarity with the latest frontend patterns and best practices on React hooks, component composition, and state management
• Experience with writing tests using mocks and data fixtures for both front and back end code
• Able to express service and web application interactions with well-designed and versioned interfaces, models, and abstractions
• Some experience with observability in web applications (Splunk, Datadog, Sentry, Hotjar, Pendo, FullStory, or similar)
• Familiarity with (No)SQL, preferably PostgreSQL as well as MongoDB
• Experience with Storybook is preferred
• Experience with working in a true continuous delivery environment is desirable
