Software Implementation Analyst Manager

A Software Implementation Analyst (SIA) Manager functionally manages a team of Software Implementation Analysts who are the agents of change who work with client specifications at all phases of the software implementation lifecycle.

The SIA Manager will be a "working manager" in the sense that he/she will manage the SIA team as well act of the SIA for a select number of projects. The SIA Manager will oversee the SIA team's customer and the development team communication, creation of documentation and communication of requirements that define system behavior, features, and business rules.

A SIA Manager will ensure the SIA Team works with their clients to discuss their workflows, current and future state, understand their Use Case for the software implementation and explains the options available while documenting all requirements. The SIA manages facilitates the SIA Team's verification of the software configuration as designed and leads user acceptance testing to ensure client satisfaction.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Software Implementation Analyst Manager, you will:

Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Operates as the lead point of contact or first line escalation point for SIA Team as well as Project Management Office while working closely with the Project Managers, Development Managers, ACEs, Development and Quality Assurance and Information Security Departments to ensure client satisfaction throughout the Client software implementation lifecycle.
  • Sets and communicates SIA team expectations both within team and PMO.
  • Ensures timely client review and approval of business requirements.
  • Mentors team on developing and maintaining strong client relationships during the software implementation process.
  • Mentors team on developing a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Promotes team communication and dynamics with the Technology Teams and the SIAs.
  • Forecasts and tracks key metrics for software implementation such as SOW deliverables met timely, UAT client feedback and efficiency of knowledge transition to ACE team for M&O.
  • Willingly goes above and beyond to ensure the success of Pondera's customers and organization.
  • Safeguards organizational Human Resources and financial sensitive information from unauthorized usage and individuals.

Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Conduct PROP sessions to solicit requirements by walking the client through the solution via Demonstrations.
  • Create the Master Design Document or (BRD and TRD) representing the requirements necessary for the implementation of software solution for the client and identifies any scope outside of the SOW.
  • Create User Stories to be reviewed and approved by the client and used by Development teams for project implementation.
  • Conduct grooming sessions of User Stories with both client and development teams.
  • Assist development teams in prioritization of groomed user stories for sprint project work.
  • Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to ensure the highest degree of requirement understanding and implementation accuracy.
  • Work on multiple projects within the PMO simultaneously.
  • Represent the client's requirements (User Stories) to internal teams throughout the project implementation timeline up to and through UAT and GO LIVE.
  • Lead UAT to ensure the solution is configured as designed.
  • Provide consultation, support, communication, and training to ACE team throughout the project and into the transition from PMO to Customer Support.
  • Ensure compliance with established PMO procedures, project requirements, and scope within the Statement of Work.

About You

You're a fit for the role of Software Implementation Analyst Manager if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Related Field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ Years of Experience In Business Analysis
  • 2+ Years of Team Management Experience
  • Previous experience Interfacing With Government Agencies As it Relates to Fraud and Risk
  • Previous experience managing a team of analysts.
  • Previous experience conducting business requirement solicitation
  • Exhibit strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with MS Suite, JIRA and Team Foundation Server.
  • Comfortable working within the dynamics of a multi-team SDLC process.
  • Process Mapping/Diagraming.
  • Quality Assurance experience bonus.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following (New York City, San Francisco, Culver City, Irvine). The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $97,000 - $180,100. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states (CA, CO, CT, NV, WA) and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $88,200 - $163,800. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
