Software Infrastructure Engineer

Boston Dynamics is seeking an ambitious Software Engineer to join the Warehouse Software Infrastructure team. Our team works to build software solutions to support the Machine Learning team, primarily for the Stretch robot, at Boston Dynamics. We do this by delivering software tools and services to our internal customers that help enable the success of our projects and rapid experimentation by our engineers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with and be mentored by senior team members to understand needs and requirements and to help design and implement software solutions.

Now we are quickly becoming a recognized leader in automation solutions for industrial applications and warehouse logistics.

Day to day activities:

• Design, write, analyze, and debug code
• Work within a team to gather, refine, and document requirements
• Work alongside end-users to ensure delivered software meets needs
• Communicate designs and progress with the larger team

Desired skills:

• A student completing a Bachelor's degree between December 2022 and July 2023
• Preferred majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in C++ and Python
• Familiarity with development tools, such as git, docker
• Strong personal skills (communication, well motivated)
• Nice to have: Interest in Machine Learning
