Description:
This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Software Integration Engineer supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 yearsβ experience and be responsible for, but not limited to; installation and configuration of Linux and Windows platforms. Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps. Develop installation scripts to automate system installation. Develop test plans/ procedures for software integration. Coordinate execution of software integration tests and work with software developers to help diagnose and identify the root cause of problems. Implement all Information Assurance directives on systems.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in an engineering discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering) or equivalent yearsβ experience;
- Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification;
- Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance;
- Previous experience in the integration of separate software components into a single system;
- Experience integrating complex applications on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms;
- Experience with Linux and Windows system administration including installing and configuring; systems from the OS level up;
- Experience with VMWare systems administration and installing;
- Experience with VM Horizon View a plus;
- Experience with Information Assurance policies and procedures and the ability to apply IA requirements to an existing system;
- Experience with scripting languages (developing, debugging and maintaining);
- Ability to read and troubleshoot application source code;
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Java and object oriented development a plus.
Location: Huntsville, AL (Occasional travel will be required for this position including OCONUS)
