The Software Integration Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing architecture and applications to unify the Beckman operations ecosystem of software solutions within the vision of smart factory, industry 4.0 environment.

This position is part of the Global Systems Test and Innovation Engineering department located in Chaska MN or Miami FL and will be Hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the innovation team and report to the Director of Global systems test and Innovation Engineering responsible for global operations digital transformational projects across the supply chain including strategy, design, integration, and configuration. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and integrate enterprise software solutions, APIs, and data flows to enable digitization and automation for global operations.
• Generate and review software requirements to meet business needs and verify that implemented integrations (services and workflows).
• Architect solutions and applications that are designed to effectively integrated into current technology ecosystem (server and cloud deployments), including working with suppliers and new technologies.
• Participate in cross functional projects to define and implement software solutions to enable core function business capabilities.
• Generate global standardization through best practice references, architecture frameworks, and governance requirements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical degree, with 5+ years of experience designing and integrating software solutions OR Master's degree in field with 3+ years exp.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java Script, PHP, SQL, C++, C#, Phyton, and other related languages.
• Experience with Database administration (creation of relational databases, SQL queries), data modeling, requirements, schema, and database systems in support of a centralized data repository.
• Experience with integration interfaces HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON, XML and other related technologies.
• Experience with enterprise level software integrations and middleware deployments to connect various software systems.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Network architecture and infrastructure configuration including Operational Technology (OT) security.
• Cloud platform integrations, web apps, service monitoring, and machine learning advanced analytics.
