ASRC Federal is seeking a Software Analyst. Provides system/software engineering and technology innovation to Army Air and Missile Defense, Aviation, and/or MDA software solutions. Supports technical aspects of the program including the system engineering process, program progress, analysis, and the output of the technical team. Ensures all technical activities are identified, executed, and documented. Utilizes technical background working in requirements development, design, traceability, interoperability, continuous integration, and system testing of software-intensive systems.
Reviews and filters technology opportunities, promising activities, and technical gaps based upon projected capability needs. Supports the technical performance of the project through control activities including reviews, metrics data collection, identifying corrective actions and ensuring implementation. Supports automated software test and pipeline development activities. Identifies and tracks risks associated with program/software interfaces, development, and integration/test activities. Reports project technical status and progress to the technical and programmatic staff. Utilizes proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
Required
- ABET accredited BS in an Engineering discipline; or BS in Computer Science or related technical field
- Minimum 4 years of related experience
- Background in software development
- Knowledge of the complete Software/Systems Development process and lifecycle
- Some Travel
- Active security clearance
Desired
- Knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS)
- Strong Background in Java
- Strong Background in C/C++
- Background in JavaScript
- Experience developing and maintaining System/Software Engineering artifacts
- Analysis of software source code and binary executable files is a plus
- Experience in software analysis tools such as Understand, CodeSonar, CodeDx, and CodePeer is a plus
