Software Java Engineer II - Remote, Poland

The Identity Platform team is chartered to build state-of-the-art, modern identity solutions for Clari’s suite of products. We are looking for a Software Java Engineer II with a passion for building great products who wants to be a part of a team responsible for implementation of the services, frameworks, and features that will improve the IAM experiences of users using Clari.

This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in Poland. Candidates must be based in Poland and be able to travel to the office in Kraków as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain services, APIs, and systems across Clari Engineering teams
• Shape future-proof interfaces that are easy to build against and meet the requirements of client-facing teams
• Brainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, Frontend Engineers, and other cross-functional partners to conceptualize and build new features for our growing user base
• Produce high-quality results by leading or contributing heavily to large cross-functional projects that have a significant impact on the business
• Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack, and uplevel the observability and reliability of the overall system
• Mentor engineers earlier in their technical careers to help them grow
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

Qualifications

• Have a strong technical background, including 4+ years of experience building impactful large-scale products or systems using Java language
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Experience designing and building distributed systems
• Have a solid understanding of distributed systems, data stores and data modeling
• Cross-team communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers
• Nice to have experience building identity, authentication, and access management products
