Job Objective:

The Product Manager is responsible for product planning management, marketing support and strategic direction of one or more new and existing products within the Verity Solutions Group product family. Responsibilities will include product design, market segmentation, launch, maintenance and growth. The product manager will serve as subject matter expert on key Verity products & services and possesses a high level of technical acumen. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive impactful product initiatives to market in a highly collaborative and nimble setting. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver detailed product documentation with prioritized features and justification based upon business value, product strategy and roadmap.
  • Communicate with customers (internal & external) to gain feedback on user product experiences and opportunities. Ensure correct features are identified, taking into account customers, operations, sales, finance, related lines of business and others. Prioritize and negotiate to build best possible set of features to be included and developed in the new products.
  • Articulate product requirements and functionality, in both a technical and non-technical voice to guide the development process and deliver on customer needs.
  • Research competitor products and maintain competitive comparisons and evaluations. Gather insights to shape the direction of the product.
  • Assist/develop/coordinate new idea reviews and recommendations, concept and design development, project management, and market introduction.
  • Assist/develop product profiles, competitive analysis, presentations, demos, white papers, and product updates for organizational marketing materials.
  • Drive product and marketing specification and requirements definition.
  • Assist in the selection and support of beta-test environments.
  • Contribute to management of the product life cycle.
  • Assist in development of sales collateral and presentations, core positioning and messaging for products.
  • Communicate the product plan to internal and external clients.
  • Partner with Marketing to coordinate external messaging and expression of product/feature value propositions.
  • Partner with Finance on estimating product demand, profitability and establishing pricing.
  • Represent Verity Solutions at industry trade group meetings and presentations as requested.
  • Support and promote the Verity Solutions values through positive interactions with both internal and external customers on a regular basis
  • Attend to other initiatives and goals as directed towards Verity's continuous growth and prosperity.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
  • BS degree technology, business, engineering, computer science preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Success defining and launching excellent products into the marketplace.
  • 5+ years in software product management experience.
  • Healthcare and/or pharmacy experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Agile product development experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with customers and internal colleagues under stressful situations with scheduling limitations and conflicts.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other common office tools.
  • Experience with web-based (SaaS) solutions desired.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $101,100 - $168,500, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
