This role has been designated as Hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our St. Paul, MN location. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

As the Software Product Test Lead, you Serve as the Lead Test Engineer on customer-facing commercial building automation connectivity solutions that integrate with Equipment and Building Controls. The connectivity solutions allow customers to connect their buildings wirelessly using Bluetooth, Wi-fi, Air-fi, and Cellular to increase productivity while keeping install costs low

What you will do:

• Lead a global team by providing work direction, training, and support across different disciplines to develop a product solution.
• Create Project Test Plans, create/manage test schedules, create test cases, and log defects as appropriate.
• Report up and out on test progress, coverage, and issues/opportunities.
• Help build and maintain the Engineering test facilities by acquiring test hardware and software.
• Assist in the development of hardware and software simulators when appropriate.
• Help advance testing tools, technology, and processes within Control Systems.
• Create training materials, work instructions, and coach other Engineers.

What we expect of you:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, HVACR Technology or related discipline required.
• 5+ years of experience testing software in various environments i.e., Client-Server, Browser, Cloud, and Mobile Applications
• 3+ years of experience coordinating/leading global test projects
• Ability to effectively communicate with others both written and orally

Ideally, you would also be familiar with one or more of the following

• Understanding/exposure to multiple development processes
• * Agile, Waterfall, Iterative
• Knowledge of building control systems and devices.
• Experience/knowledge of communication protocols.
• * BACnet, Modbus, LON
• Experience testing wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or Zigbee
• Experience testing and configuring embedded controllers.
• Understanding of/experience with current Cyber Security practices
• Experience planning, creation, and execution of test automation using software automation tools
• Robot Framework, Selenium, Cypress3+ years of experience coordinating/leading global test projects

Base Compensation Range is $75,000 to $100,000
