Software Project Manager

700Apps is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our team. As a project manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the defined objectives and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management processes and methodologies.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, in collaboration with stakeholders and the project team.
• Create and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
• Coordinate project activities, ensuring effective communication and collaboration between team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined quality standards.
• Oversee the testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring that project deliverables meet the specified requirements.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial status to stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
• Lead project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status meetings, and post-project reviews.
• Coach and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience of +3 years as a Project Manager, preferably in the software development industry.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia Governmental Sector is a Must
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
• Experience managing software development projects using Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in managing projects with distributed teams is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.
