Software Project Manager

As a Software Project Manager with us, you will report into the Chief Product Officer and play a key role in building out the custom development and customer solutions beyond the built-in features of our ArrowStream software today!

This position is remotely based with anticipated travel 4-5x per year. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role. 

Your impact:

• Act as Project Manager for custom solution delivery and implementation projects
• Coordinate and manage project teams consisting of cross-functional internal personnel, as well as customer project stakeholders in requirements gathering, solution design, development, implementation, training, and rollout of solutions.
• Ensure project success through ensuring business objective alignment, creating effective project plans, assigning project roles and responsibilities, defining and enforcing project scope and managing change orders, identifying project phases and milestones, maintaining task lists and ensuring task-level delivery, communicating project status, measuring against success criteria, and identifying and managing project risks
• Run all project meetings across blended internal, such as product management, software development, account management, implementation, data integration, and customer success, as well as external customer teams
• Actively participate in business requirements gathering, as-is and to-be process modelling, data flow and integration planning, and technical design process
• Work with product owners to create development stories to be incorporated into ArrowStream’s agile software development process
• Work directly with developers and quality assurance personnel to ensure understanding of requirements and prepare for development and testing
• Coordinate release timing within overall product roadmap and release schedule
• Manage customer feedback process, as well as UAT, alpha and beta programs associated with software releases
• Work with implementation, training, customer success and account management teams to ensure overall project success and customer satisfaction, and support the transition of account ownership and customer support to the appropriate teams

About you:

• 3-5 years in a customer-facing professional services role focused on technology project management or custom software delivery
• Excellent project manager, with demonstrated skills in project management strategies, processes and tools on complex projects
• Advanced communication and relationship-building skills, demonstrated in working directly with end customer business and technical stakeholders
• Deep technology understanding, and experience working with internal software development teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
• Proficiency in documentation of business and technical requirements, process and data flow modelling
• Familiarity with Agile Development processes and tools
• Familiarity with supply chain software, supply chain operations or purchasing a plus
