Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute functional test cases, suites and plans using Azure Test Plans.
  • Analyze, document, and track defects and other related issues from discovery to resolution.
  • Define testable acceptance criteria against which system functionality will be evaluated.
  • Actively participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and sprint reviews (including product demonstrations.)
  • Proactively learn product functionality and become a passionate advocate of the user experience.
  • Perform SQL queries as needed against MS-SQL databases.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years of professional experience testing web applications.
  • Experience creating, running, and maintaining functional test cases.
  • Knowledge of financial systems or retirement plans (defined contributions or defined benefits) is a plus.
  • Experience developing and executing SQL queries.
  • Experience testing REST APIs. Experience with ReadyAPI is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Test Plans or Microsoft Test Manager is a plus.
  • Ability to test and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
