Software QA Engineer 2

Join global organization with 82000+ employees around the world, as a Senior Automation Tester based in IQVIA Bangalore. You will be part of IQVIA’s world class technology team and will be involved in design, development, enhanced software programs or cloud applications or proprietary products.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies and systems, conducting and overseeing software test procedures, and ensuring the quality of software products. You will lead the design and implementation of testing methodologies, tools, and automation strategies, while working closely with the development team to identify and resolve any issues or bugs that arise. You will also be expected to mentor junior staff and contribute to the improvement of the overall testing process.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Developing and implementing testing strategies and systems.
• Conducting and overseeing software and system testing procedures.
• Documenting and analyzing test results, and reporting and tracking defects.
• Working closely with the software development team to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
• Leading the design and implementation of testing methodologies, tools, and automation strategies.
• Contributing to the improvement of the overall testing process.
• Mentoring junior testing staff.
• Strong knowledge in Python and Test Automation.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer, Senior Test Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience with different testing techniques such as UI Testing, Automated Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies, and others.
• Proficiency in coding and scripting.
• Experience with different testing tools and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good project management skills.
