We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Software QA Engineer to work alongside our QA team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality assurance engineering. Want to play a critical role in driving innovation, ensuring product success, and fostering a collaborative work environment?

Position Location: Portland, OR

As the Software QA Engineer, your contributions to the team will include:

• Work in all phases of the software development agile process (design, verification, release, etc.) to provide timely and relevant feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, automated test infrastructure and automated test suites.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality-testing activities.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using automation tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough functional/black box and regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies and recommend improvements

What we ask of you:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
• Work experience in software development and software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA Methodologies, tools and processes

Familiarity with:

• Automation of test scripts
• Automation of testing with UI (Web/Browser, Desktop/Touch UI)
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
