Software QA Engineer

As a Senior SDET, the person should have both Automation and Manual Testing expertise (7-9 years).

Development experience is an added advantage.

Manual/Functional testing requirement:

• Expertise in QA, at least 7 years of experience

• Candidates with Automation experience and willing to work on manual testing too (Or)

• Experience with all aspects of product testing including test planning, documentation, execution, estimations, defect management and reporting

• Mastery of SDLC, QA methodologies, best practices and standards

• Good in writing manual test scenarios and test cases

• Good in agile methodologies, preferred who is working in Agile model

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative

Automation testing requirement:

Responsibilities include understanding automation design, doing code review / bug analysis, analyzing development and test impacts, writing test automation scripts, and increasing automation coverage.

• Good understanding of Java or JavaScript

• Exposure to development skills with Java or JavaScript

• Automation expertise with Selenium with Java, Cypress or Protractor

• Scripting background in writing code, Debugging, Reviewing code etc.

• Should able to add value to existing test Automation Frameworks design.

• Should be instrumental in taking ownership of Automation test scripting and Test execution deliverables.

• Understand the existing automation framework, agility and monitoring tools and suggest improvements

• Look for continuously improving the efficiency of the entire regression testing with optimized solution

• Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues and provide alternate solutions to fix the issues related to Automation Test suite and framework.

• Work with colleagues from different teams to understand cross-team functionality requirements

• Having knowledge on data base SQL, Oracle is an advantage

Must have Skills:

• Should have at least 6 years of Hands On Experience on JavaScript based automation tools like Protractor, Cypress or Selenium with Java

• Should have exposure to API Test Automation

• Cross-Browser testing experience

• Should have hands on experience on integration of test scripts into CI|CD pipeline

• Should have both Functional and Manual Testing Experience

• Exposure to Web applications testing is Mandatory

• Excellent Communication skills

• Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver results

• Ability to learn and adapt new tools and technologies quickly

• Strong in analytical and Problem solving skills.

• Experience of Automation Framework development using programming languages (JavascriptJava).

• Good understanding of OOP with Strong Coding and Debugging skills
  Proven capabilities in architecting test automation solutions from scratch for complex standard/non-standard applications.

• Proven design, implementation and debugging skills is required.

• Strong Logical abilities

• Should able to mentor team on new technologies and learning

Qualifications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong team skills are required.

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical studies.

Nice to Have:

• Contract Testing Experience

• Experience using Cloud infrastructure to automate Continuous testing process

• Security Testing Experience
