Job Description

As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing a team of QA engineers and overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and testing.
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and test plans to ensure that products meet company and customer requirements.
  • Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and ensuring timely and successful delivery of software.
  • Working closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of quality assurance processes.
  • Creating and maintaining test plans and standards for software development projects.
  • Ensuring proper implementation of automated tests to ensure product quality and verify bug fixes.
  • Analyzing bugs and errors found during tests and recommending improvements in software to enhance user experience.
  • Managing daily QA activities and ensuring that QA processes adhere to Agile/Scrum development principles.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Need 7 to 10 years of professional experience in software testing and leading teams.
  • Have a good understanding of Test Management, Test Automation, Performance Testing, and Virtualization industry leading tools.
  • Have good hands-on exposure to any of the language Java, Java scripts, core java
  • Analyze bugs and errors found during tests.
  • Create manual test cases as and when as per project requirements.
  • Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
  • Need experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Expertise & experience in many of these tools is a plus.

  1. Test Management Tools: Jira, Zephyr, HP Quality Center, etc.
  2. Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete, etc.
  3. Performance Testing Tools: LoadRunner, Jmeter, Gatling, etc.
  4. Bug Tracking Tools: Bugzilla, Mantis, GitHub Issues, etc.
  5. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Tools: Jenkins, TravisCI, GitHub actions, etc.
  6. Code Repository Tools: Git, SVN, etc.
  7. Virtualization Tools: VirtualBox, VMware, Docker, etc.
