Job Description
As a QA Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing a team of QA engineers and overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and testing.
- Designing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance and test plans to ensure that products meet company and customer requirements.
- Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and ensuring timely and successful delivery of software.
- Working closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure proper implementation of quality assurance processes.
- Creating and maintaining test plans and standards for software development projects.
- Ensuring proper implementation of automated tests to ensure product quality and verify bug fixes.
- Analyzing bugs and errors found during tests and recommending improvements in software to enhance user experience.
- Managing daily QA activities and ensuring that QA processes adhere to Agile/Scrum development principles.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Need 7 to 10 years of professional experience in software testing and leading teams.
- Have a good understanding of Test Management, Test Automation, Performance Testing, and Virtualization industry leading tools.
- Have good hands-on exposure to any of the language Java, Java scripts, core java
- Analyze bugs and errors found during tests.
- Create manual test cases as and when as per project requirements.
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
- Need experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Expertise & experience in many of these tools is a plus.
- Test Management Tools: Jira, Zephyr, HP Quality Center, etc.
- Test Automation Tools: Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete, etc.
- Performance Testing Tools: LoadRunner, Jmeter, Gatling, etc.
- Bug Tracking Tools: Bugzilla, Mantis, GitHub Issues, etc.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Tools: Jenkins, TravisCI, GitHub actions, etc.
- Code Repository Tools: Git, SVN, etc.
- Virtualization Tools: VirtualBox, VMware, Docker, etc.
