Your Role and Responsibilities
The Cloud QA/Tester is a key role in the growing and dynamic IBM Automation organization. As a QA/Tester for Cloud Pak System(CPS) product you will be focused on testing and support of CPS and interfacing with product management development teams across locations and end users to solve complex problems. As a member of the team you will have the opportunity to work with multiple test teams to monitor and coordinate test activities between them. As the test member you are responsible to establish the test plan and schedule and ensure that overall testing is performed within the committed timeframe with high quality.

Each day you will attend daily team scrums and project meetings to make important contributions in the development and architecture of automated solutions to continue building and optimizing our cloud and deployment infrastructure.

• Create and execute test cases. Review test cases created by other teams
• Expand test automation using test automation framework
• Plan and execute Currency tests
• Ensure that overall testing is performed within the committed timeframe
• Support and test for customer support cases.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of STLC bug lifecycle requirement understanding
• Experience in both Manual and Automation testing
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Understanding of testing frameworks like pytest.
• Experience in designing automation frameworks for web using Selenium
• Experience in automation framework design
• Experience working with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins Git Groovy
• Hands-on experience with API testing and automation tools like Postman and Python automation.
• Familiarity with relational databases and ability to write SQL queries for data validation and verification.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to multitask prioritize work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 1-3 years of industry experience working with above technologies
