The ICOS Vision Systems division focuses on the backend of the line semiconductor industry providing fully automated tools to inspect and sort, finished integrated circuit packages. For more than 15 years, ICOS has been a market leader with tray-to-tray and tray-to-tape inspection and sorting tools found in the production facilities of all major chipmakers in the world. Our market-leading technology and superior customer service requires strong talent in optics, machine control, algorithms and applications within our engineering teams. The ICOS division headquarters are in Leuven, Belgium with additional engineering and manufacturing operations in Singapore and Shenzhen (China).
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop software test plans according to product specification, customer use cases and end user expectations.
- Complete test plans on physical machines and in simulated setups and distribute the tested software to the customer support team with clear release documentation and application notes.
- Document test results and defects experienced during tests.
- Diagnose bugs and closely monitor them from discovery to resolution, by engaging with the engineering and customer support teams.
- Be the go-to person for the local developers, field support engineers as well as your colleagues around the globe. Joint test execution and problem analysis will be key in this role.
- Perform customer visits in the SEA region to support problem solving on site occasionally.
- Partner with other engineers to stay informed of new technologies being introduced to ensure system components are designed for testability.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 4-year experience in product-based software testing
- Demonstrated understanding of creating effective test procedures and test cases
- Demonstrated experience in executing test procedures and validating against customer requirements
- Experience in test automation and test frameworks is a plus
- Understanding of existing quality control methodologies to apply in your day-to-day job
- Organized, detail oriented, very responsive
- Dynamic and likes to interact with people
- Self-motivated, works well independently and with others
