The Opportunity

As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for testing our client website, along with the related services, while playing a key role in delivering quality software to our business partners. You will be part of a scrum team, working in a collaborative environment with flexible work arrangements.

Job Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases:
  • Perform manual testing of software to identify defects and ensure product quality.
  • Identify test cases that are good candidates for automation.
  • Run automated tests as needed.
  • Perform regression testing.
  • Ensure adequate product testing, in accordance with established standards and requirements, prior to implementation.
  • May perform manual testing of vendor/COTS products.
  • Maintain test script library and/or performance test results.
  • Utilize basic SQL to identify test data.
• Report defects and issues found during testing in a clear and concise manner and assist in determining resolution.
• Suggest improvements to current procedures.
• Maintain and develop business knowledge and customer relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Advanced understanding of testing concepts and methodologies. Familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Understand automated testing concepts and application.
• Agile experience is preferred.

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience with Telerik Test Studio preferred.
