Software Quality Lead

Waltz Health is looking for a software quality leader to drive a structured and scalable quality discipline across all of our software development efforts. Curiosity and a desire to learn will be critical to success in this role. As the leader of software quality, you will be working very closely with Waltz leaders to build a market leading set of applications at the core of our marketplace platform.  You will also lead our partner resources to ensure they are developing applications in conformance with your technology direction, related processes and critical performance indicators.

You will work closely with our entire technology and product management team to ensure we are establishing industry leading software processes, technology selections and development discipline to produce “industrial strength” software products. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to make a meaningful contribution in healthcare and would like to be part of an exciting start up journey.

• Lead end-to-end software quality management across the Waltz platform.
• Define and provide an end-to-end framework for driving high-quality software - and related data management across all Waltz development teams.
• Work across the technology and business organizations to develop and lead the execution of a well thought out, continuous quality program working closely with internal and external development teams.
• Define, Measure and track well-defined software metrics across all Waltz software development efforts.
• Drive test automation at all levels.
• Identify and be accountable to work with teams to manage risk areas.
• Ensure we have an end-to-end view of quality across design, development, deployment, and consumer experience.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement. 

• Learn the Waltz platform and related applications
• Develop an initial view of a quality program – with a baseline set of metrics to capture current status
• Engage closely with technology and business stakeholders to ensure we have a consistent approach across all teams

• 5+ years of experience in a full-time software quality role.
• Hands on experience developing software products.
• Deep familiarity with the SDLC lifecycle including agile models at scale.
• Expertise with quality control gates – and related metrics.
• A deep familiarity with multi tier software architectures and related integration patterns.
• A deeply familiarity with market leading testing solutions including unit/regression testing across multiple technology stacks.
• A deep understanding of test automation systems and techniques.
• Expertise in data analysis – with intuition to identify potential risk areas.
• Expertise in guiding/leading direct and indirect resources preferred
• Are enthusiastic, positive, and hardworking.
• Are flexible with job roles and responsibilities – i.e. be willing to jump into new projects and have a scrappy start-up mentality.
• Are a clear communicator who is comfortable working with all levels of the organization.
• Thrive working independently, autonomously, and can adapt to changing needs of a growing company.

• Exposure and fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Azure
