Software Quality Manager

Apex.AI is seeking a Software Quality Manager who’s ready to make a real impact. In this role, you will be responsible for steering our product development and customer projects to achieve quality goals and enhance overall product quality by deploying best software testing practices and ensuring process compliance and process improvements. This role is located in our Munich office, with the expectation that you will be in the office a minimum of 3 days/week. Current work authorization in Germany is required.

What you'll do

• Steer our product development and customer projects to achieve quality goals and enhance overall product quality by deploying best practices and ensuring PMT (process, methodology, tools) compliance and process improvement 
• Perform PMT process harmonization and coach the project teams to implement ASPICE 
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers and project teams to ensure PMT process adherence and to prepare assessments 
• Conduct periodic meetings with all stakeholders to ensure planned quality activities are performed 

In order to be successful in the role, you must have

• B.S. or higher in Engineering/Information Technology/ Computer Science or a related field 
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience 
• Strong understanding of Automotive SPICE and proven ASPICE implementation experience 
• Exposure to Quality Management practices supporting Automotive embedded system projects 
• Exposure to product development or ECU/ System development 
• Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

It would be nice if you also had

• Experience as a Provisional Assessor in at least one independent Program Assessment for ASPICE Level 2 assessment
