What You’ll Bring to The Team:


At Florence we’re passionate about making it easy for our customers to contribute

to research and find cures. The Software Sales Executive will target Research Sites

(academic medicine, IDN’s, and independent sites and site networks) with the goal

of bringing cures to market more quickly. Our workflow software helps speed up

trials and while cutting the costs from clunky antiquated workflows.

Successful candidates will have demonstrated sales competence, a passion for

technology, and an interest in advancing clinical research with great software.

Software sales experience is required. Experience leading web-based meetings and

demos is required. Experience in Healthcare IT or Life Sciences is required.


You will:


  • Lead your team, coach the team and grow the team. 
  • Enjoy selling a software solution with a clear value proposition and strong ROI.
  • Build funnel. Grow a funnel for deals that will close 6 to 18 months out.
  • Work as a team. You will work with your reps, skilled Sales Engineers, Product Management, Implementation and SDR teams.
  • Travel. For now, travel is greatly limited. Most selling is web based. We expect a return to some measure of business travel in 2022 including conferences and customer meetings.
  • Grow. This is a personal growth opportunity. Be coached by experienced people who are keen to see you succeed. The business is growing and we need you to grow with us.

An Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Experience managing a sales team selling SaaS software. At least 6 years’ experience in a sales role
  • Knowledge and experience of Healthcare IT or Life Sciences
  • Hands On. Willing to manage but also be the player on critical deals
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles
  • Experience acquiring both new logos and expansions
  • Worked with SDR teams for lead conversions
  • Some Experience with deals outside of US is strongly preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal, webinar and presentation skills. Experience selling software in a web-based demo approach is essential.
  • Have experience with an industry leading CRM system.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • This position can be remote (eastern and central time zone). Florence is based in Atlanta Georgia.
