Software Solutions Engineer

Everbridge are currently looking for a Software Solutions Engineer to join our UAE- based Professional Services team to help with the implementation of our software solutions. Our systems sit at the heart of some of the largest, most complex, security deployments in the world, and are commissioned in some of the highest profile locations across the globe. This role is primarily based in the Middle East and will suit persons able to travel primarily in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, but also other locations in the region.

Everbridge is a Software Vendor (ISV) founded in Boston Massachusetts. The specific team focus on a vitally important security sector known as PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) and it is a product market that the company was instrumental in defining. Our Control Center solution provides Integrated Situation Management – bringing together data from security technologies and hardware, such as CCTV surveillance, intruder detection, access control and video walls to provide real-time situation awareness; aiding law enforcement, securing cities, safeguarding critical infrastructure, and protecting global commerce.

What you'll be doing:

• Attend client meetings in order to build deliverable Functional Design Specifications.
• Liaise and explain sub-system integration designs with clients.
• Commission, Test and Handover Control Center software either remotely or on-premises.
• Provide technical support for Control Center clients.

What you'll bring:

• At least a 2.1 degree or significant equivalent experience.
• Preferred experience with software integration concepts and deployments, preferably with orchestration / workflow experience.
• Experience in configuring servers and troubleshooting the Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
• Experience of Database architectures and methodologies; with a deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and the ability to manipulate data using SQL scripting
• Experience in Networking principles and the Internet Protocol (IP).
• Experience with Integration processes with knowledge of API / SDK’s and Open Protocol application.
• Experience working with Client-Server applications.
• Virtual machine (VM) environments and Microsoft Clustering Experience.
