Software Support Engineer - Spot

As a Software Support Engineer, you will help customers integrate our robotic solutions remotely, ensuring a positive customer experience and enabling their success with Spot. Reporting directly to the Software Support Lead, you will take ownership for resolving technical customer issues in a short time. Your focus will be working directly with customers configuring network and payload connections to seamlessly integrate robots and remote operations through web-based software. To thrive in this role, you must have strong communication skills and be driven to provide excellent customer service support solutions while growing your software and robotics skills.

Day to day activities:

• Manage Cases from Customers
• Communicate and collaborate with customers for planning and integration of Boston Dynamics equipment
• Provide operator support through effective troubleshooting, applying networking experience as needed
• Respond to customer emails in a timely and responsible manner
• Diagnose, reproduce, and document software issues for Development
• Suggest new features based on customer feedback

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience in IT and/or networking environment
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting commands and tools
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering/Computer Science related subject
• Excellent interpersonal skills
