What you get to do:
As a member of the Salesforce Engineering team, you will support a growing FinTech Environment, reporting to the Salesforce Development Manager.
Our FinTech platform is built on Salesforce including our Origination and Servicing flows. Utilizing Salesforce as a Platform - we use the Service Cloud, Einstein Bots, LWC, Platform Events, Live Agent, and much more. We are also focused heavily on automation and working with the latest Salesforce technologies; we have implemented Sandbox Spinup automation, full automation regression, automated data snapshot testing, and are continually improving and rolling out new ways to improve our platform and development processes. You will also get to…
- Design/develop software on our Salesforce platform.
- Partner with business operations to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop 3rd party APIs and integrations with dozens of internal and external services.
- We want you to grow your skills with us! Our team manages our own internal training with budgets for classes, conferences, books, and materials.
- Dynamically solve interesting and unique problemsÂ
- Help with overall design and implementation
What you will bring to the team:
The Salesforce Engineering team is an essential contributor to the health of the services/products we provide for our customers. You will ideally have:
- 1+ years experience with Java or a similar modern programming language, including object-oriented design principles. Show us you’ve solved non-trivial engineering problems with your language and we’ll be interested in you.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex, LWC, and Migration Tools (Ant and Salesforce CLI)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git)
- Strong desire for continuous improvement in the organization and yourself
Our Salesforce Architecture
Salesforce at OppFi is used more than just a CRM. We are the source of truth for most data in Origination and Servicing and the back office tool to access the rest. Our development processes are built around multiple releases a week supported by CI/CD, custom built linters, automated environment spin up, a strong product organization, and quality-oriented development practices. Our development is full stack requiring developers to write code in Salesforce’s frontend framework, as well its backend development, and finally manage its data structures on the database side. We are using the latest tools salesforce provides including starting to design and develop on Salesforce’s event bus technology “Platform Events."

Job Level: Tech I
The minimum salary for this role is $108,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.
The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.Â
