Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to work with software team in Diagnostic X-Ray(DXR) R&D, and design & development of components/modules/sub-systems software based on the specifications. Eleva workspot is the heart of DXR systems which proudly owns the first of its kind CXA architecture that equips itself to be a common software platform over a wide range of radiography and fluoroscopy imaging systems. Eleva workspot is designed for creating, processing, and transferring digital X-ray exposures. It supports a fully automatic workflow, from entering patient data through image processing to film composition, with an intuitive user interface.

You are responsible for

• Responsible for analyzing and understanding requirements

• Design and implement the requirements by collaborating with System Engineers and Architects

• Performs detailed design, coding, testing and all related documentation for a project

• Identifying and resolving technical risks proactively

• Ensure deliverables are on time and of high quality

• Implementation of Unit Test Cases using relevant testing frameworks

• Supports team in defect fixing and investigations

You are a part of Diagnostic X-Ray R&D team based out of Philips Healthcare Innovation Center (HIC), Pune. Philips HIC Pune is a product innovation center for multiple businesses with presence of R&D, Marketing, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality and Manufacturing functions. The center is focused on developing smart and reliable X-ray imaging based Diagnostics and Treatment products with enhanced patient safety to meet the unmet needs of a wide range of global hospital customer base.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years in software development using C++, VisualStudio .Net, STL and OOAD

• 3-4 years in software development using C# and XML

• Experience in implementing Image Processing algorithms will be added advantage

• Completed engineering studies at university level; BE/BTech/ME/Mtech Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science with 8 to 14 years of experience

• Very good knowledge in software design, design of interfaces, object oriented methods and software development methodologies

• Knowledge and experience in the development of medical devices and regulatory requirements to software development

• Independent implementation, test and documentation of software following effective procedures and policies

• Coordination of work packages and problem solving

• Assistance in planning of software development activities

• Temporarily adoption of software development related tasks

• Responsible for the software development including the software implementation, the design and specification for the Eleva image detection components

• 4– 6 years in software development in windows
