Software Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to join our team, focusing on high-performance storage solutions for HPC and AI markets.
The ideal candidate must harbor experience in designing, implementing, debugging, and executing both automated and manual tests within a Linux environment using various shell tools and scripts.
This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop both automated and manual test cases to validate product features
• Execute automated and manual tests to validate product defect fixes and functionality
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and a geographically distributed team to comprehend product requirements and features
• Daily triage of test failures
• Enhance QA reports and contribute data for release metrics
• Support the validation of product documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience working in Linux environments with proficiency in shell script languages, competency in bash, and familiarity with Python
• Background in working with enterprise-class or HPC storage systems and/or distributed systems
• Commitment to high-quality/error-free deliverables with strong attention to detail
• Proficient team player with excellent communication skills and the capability to work independently
• Excellent time management skills with the capability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Parallel File Systems, particularly Lustre
• Experience with git, JIRA, Jenkins, and Gerrit

• Advanced knowledge of Python
