Software Test Engineer

We are currently seeking aSoftware Test Engineer.The Software Test Engineer is responsible for testing, maintaining, and evaluating software/systems for platform and gaming software.

What you'll be doing:

• Develops software system testing procedures and documentation.
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted.
• Determines sequences and phases of test operations.
• Develops software test procedures, cases, scripts, and documentation for new products.
• Conducts day to day testing of platform and game software on EGMs, servers, and devices.
• Identifies and documents issues and monitors the status of projects.
• Collaborates with teams of engineers, mathematicians, designers, artists, and others as necessary to ensure product quality and market criteria.
• Analyzes test methodologies and gives input in best practices.
• Investigates and reproduces reported issues (field, lab, internal/external).
• Works with software engineers and other departments as needed to resolve issues.
• Reports to management any discrepancies or problems requiring resolution.
• Serves as liaison to SQA and regulators providing training and support on KGI products.
• Serves as liaison to customer service to provide support and information gathering for field issues.
• Travel to customer sites and testing labs to support installations, integrations, testing, and our Network Operations Center (NOC).

What we want you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of education and experience required.
• 8+ years experience in software testing,gaming machines, and gaming systems; gaming industry preferred.
• Extensive industry knowledge relevant to gaming compliance, software testing, and industry standards.
• Class II gaming experience preferred.
