Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a Test Engineer to take responsibility for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through thorough testing and quality assurance practices. You will collaborate closely with our Development and Product teams to identify and address defects, ensuring that our production software meets the highest standards of performance and usability. Bringing experience of automated test development with C#, this is a great opportunity to shape our quality and test processes.
This role is a mostly remote position but you must be available to attend regular meetings at our office in Guildford.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute test plans and cases for software developed using C# and other technologies, using appropriate test tools
• Perform functional and non-functional testing as required
• Execute Manual & Automated Test Suites as required 
• Perform Exploratory Testing 
• Work closely with internal teams to define requirements, acceptance test cases, plans and associated estimations 
• Continuously monitor and enhance test processes and methodologies to maximise quality assurance efforts and ensure alignment with industry best practices

What you'll bring:

• Experience of software testing, ideally in a .NET/C# environment
• Experience of automated test development experience with C#
• REST/Web API testing experience using tools such as PostMan, RestSharp
• Understanding of test-driven development frameworks
• Experience of test automation with Playwright is an advantage
• Desirable to have knowledge and experience of mobile app automated testing e.g. Appium 
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript would be beneficial
• ISTQB Foundation certification would be beneficial
