Software Test Engineer II Class II

We are currently seeking a Software Test Engineer II (Class II) to join the Konami Gaming team!

The Software Test Engineer II (Class II) in the testing group is responsible for testing and evaluating gaming related software products for submission to regulatory agencies.

What will you be doing?

Test Tool Development

• Develops or modifies Test Scripts.
• Demonstrates extensive industry knowledge relevant to gaming compliance and software testing.
• Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted.
• Determines sequences and phases of test operations.

Test Performance and Records

• Performs Testing of titles released by R&D for Functional and Regulatory Compliance.
• Identifies and documents test problems and monitors status of projects.

Cross-Function Coordination

• Confers with engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems, such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data and data interpretation.
• Coordinates with engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, record, and reduce test data.

What skills and expertise do you bring to the job?

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields required.
• 3 years or more of related experience and/ or training within a gaming company.
• Intermediate understanding in Microsoft Office products
• Familiarity with testing Historical Horse Racing
• Familiarity with testing New York Lottery
• Familiarity with testing Mobile Games
• Must be able to communicate professionally and efficiently, verbally and written with all levels of the business.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain gaming licensure(s).
