Job Title: Software Test Engineer IV, Innovation Test Lead

We are continuously researching and developing start-of-the-art Edge devices and Artificial Intelligence/Computer Vision algorithms for use in retail technology market opportunities. Your role will be to lead the team to deliver quality software while working on multiple projects concurrently. Collectively, we strive to enhance processes and improve soft and hard skills daily.

Responsibilities:

• Leadprojects for the test team and ensure best practices are followed; act when discrepancies arise.
• Lead and coordinate test team to achieve desired results.
• Coordinate project deliverables.
• Create and execute manual tests; assist in defect verification and management.
• Create and execute automated tests.
• Create and modify test plans.
• Provide estimates for system setup and configuration, manual test creation, execution time and hardware resource requirements.
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirements team meetings, and retrospectives.
• Stage/set-up test environment including hardware and software installations.
• Manage test equipment inventory (Toshiba and Client's), track assets, coordinate with manager to acquire additional equipment.
• Manage priorities and test activities to ensure project test schedules/deliveries are met.
• Identify and drive opportunities for increasing efficiencies and quality.
• Communicate closely with the project team on test and defect statuses, delivery risks, mitigation plans, etc.
• Participate in project meetings, provide support as needed, and work with team to ensure successful software deliveries.
• Work with project team to provide deliverable documentation (user guide, installation instructions, etc.)
• Review project documentation (Business Requirement Documents, Solution Definition Documents, etc.) and provide feedback.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, which may include the following:
• Data collection and/or analysis

Required Skills:

• BA/BS in computer programming or related field and 5 or more years of related experience.
• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages is required.
• Bash, Python, JavaScript
• Experience implementing test methodologies in an Agile environment.
• Experience setting up the hardware and software for a fully integrated test environment.
• Able to read, write and speak English proficiently and be an effective verbal and written communicator.
• Able to present statuses in a clear concise manner to management.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Deep/Machine Learning .
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently on assigned tasks.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse and global team members as needed.
• Point of Sale (POS) test experience.
• Russian language proficiency is a plus.
