Software Test Engineer_Contractor

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily infrastructure release and drive the test results based approval.
• Support lab machines and devices infrastructure on day to day basis.
• Support requests to trouble shoot machine issue (Ubuntu Linux) or Device issues.
• Monitor lab machines usage and up time to ensure all machines are ready for usage.
• Troubleshoot test failures that related to infrastructure issues and resolve them.
• In case of need help developers to run some test manually and generate results.
• Sometime if needed able to bug fix / do minor code change in shell scripts / python scripts.

 Skill Requirements:

• B.S. in an engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional work experience as a technician/lab manager
• Python coding experience
• Experience in triaging failures and quickly able to root cause issue.
• Experience with Ubuntu (Linux ) and shell scripts
• Experience with Linux environment and troubleshooting run time environment issues.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence.
• You are a team player and quick learner
• You are able to handle multiple requests and able to handle them in fast paced environment.
• You are detailed oriented.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Handle multiple competing priorities at once.
• Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

 Additional Preferred Experience:

• Experience with software engineering/ DevOps/ Manual testing.
• Basic shell scripting and python programming.
• Nice to have Kubernetes administrative experience.
