Software Test Engineering Manager

We are seeking for a Software Test Engineering Manager. In this role you will be responsible for a team of Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) as well as contractors, enabling development teams to delivery high quality software efficiently while remaining hands-on. Key Responsibilities 

• Maintain compliance with legal regulations, policies and procedures relating to compliance, and best practices in Engineering 
• Responsible for continuous improvement of engineering and testing practices, particularly test automation, to ensure delivery of predictable, high-quality releases 
• Responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of Software testing team, working in collaboration with the Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Security, Product business units as well as contractors 
• Participate in the release activities, reviewing the products test plans and reports prior to a release and contributing to the tests’ execution 
• Responsible for hiring, organizing, training, developing, managing, and retaining a high-performing, collaborative, and patient-focused remote team 
• Coach and mentor team member to provider clear, constructive, and frequent feedback and support them to grow 
• Establish and track team objectives in line with technical roadmap and company goals 
• Promotes employee self-organization and helps the team to be more self-sufficient 
• Spearhead creation and maintenance of quality architectural level technical documentation 

About You 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field 
• 7+ years’ industry experience in software testing including 2+ years’ engineering management responsibility 
• Track record of leading high functioning cross-disciplinary and agile teams 
• Experience collaborating with teams developing scalable SAAS and AI solutions  
• Proponent of software testing automation principles including API testing, performance testing, UI testing, continuous integration, and strong hands-on expertise with all levels of the test pyramid (unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, end to end testing)  
• Experience with software testing tools and technologies such as Pytest, Cypress, Postman, BrowserStack, Jest
