Software Test Manager

Software Test Manager. Troy, MI. Lead software testing activities for Embedded C software projects with AUTOSAR-based architecture for automotive products. Define ISO-15504 compliance test strategies. Represent the company during ISO-15504 audits. Lead testing team to set up, develop, and maintain automation frameworks. Lead development of test scripts for automation. Work with Software Release Manager to plan, drive, and support customer deliveries. Track test coverage for releases and communicate gaps to Project/Platform Owner and Product Owner. Ensure compliance with company test processes by monitoring, tracking, and reviewing team work products. Perform technical root cause analysis and provide appropriate test approaches to solve and test software defects. Participate in design reviews for software requirements and architecture. Perform detailed reviews for product deliverables and create summary test reports for customer deliveries. Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science and five years of automotive industry experience with developing test procedures for CAN diagnostics, developing C++/C#/Python scripts for test automation, developing software libraries in C/C++ for hardware/software tools control, developing tools for testing automotive functional requirements, CANoe, CAPL scripting, Trace32, GHS/Windriver compilers, and Tortoise SVN.
