Job Summary:
CaterTrax is currently seeking an experienced Software Test Analyst to join our growing team. This position is responsible for scrutinizing the quality of the software written by the software development scrum teams to ensure quality prior to deployment to the client/production code base.

Job Description:

• Writes and updates test cases based upon functionality and bug fixes for multiple products using Azure DevOps
• Ensures proper test coverage for all items contained in the test specifications/sprint cycle.
• Executes and validates manual and automated test cases based upon system requirements.
• Analyzes test results for variance to specifications and expected results.
• Logs and tracks defects identified through testing and monitors defects through to resolution.
• Works with the product team to improve user experience and product stability.
• Queries and modifies SQL databases to verify product functionality.
• Performs regression testing on projects developed by scrum teams.
• Investigates and resolves software product issues.
• Maintains open lines of communication between development teams to facilitate testing.
• Remains current on industry trends and technology.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• BS Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
• At least 5-7 years of related Software Testing experience, preferably in an agile software environment.
• Experience with engineering test cases for new functionality.
• Experience in developing automation scripts (not just record and playback).
• Experience with TestComplete a plus.
• Experience in creating and executing tests for APIs. Experience with Postman is a plus.
