Software Tester

Grow your career as a Software Tester within Trisept Solutions, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role you will work as part of Trisept Solutions' QA Team providing testing support to ensure information systems products work as intended.

A successful Software Tester will:

• Contribute to and understand acceptance criteria defined for the project to ensure quality standards are met.
• Actively participate by asking questions, sharing information, raising concerns and risks, reporting status and results, and providing input, feedback, and solutions.
• Define test scope and approach, including gaining alignment with project team members.
• Develop and executes test cases for assigned work.
• Submit and retests defects identified.
• Conduct post-production release testing.
• Provide knowledge transfer and creates/updates documentation as necessary.
• Review other team members' test cases based on expertise as needed.
• Follow expectations as set by assigned team and Software Test Manager.
• Support browser, mobile, and accessibility standards for testing.
• Effectively create, monitor, and maintain automated tests.
• Use best practices and follows established processes.

A successful Software Tester will have:

• Bachelor's degree from 4 year college or university and/or 2 years related experience in the testing discipline or the travel industry.
• General knowledge of computer systems, software (including Microsoft Office products), website browsers, and web-based applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication, effectively communicating issues and resolutions
• Ability to self-manage and work both independently and collaboratively with great team spirit
• Knowledge of prioritizing projects and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills - ability to plan and achieve a variety of tasks
• Flexible in taking on new challenges
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently
• Travel industry experience a plus
