We are currently seeking a talented Interaction Designer to join our team and help us create the next generation of virtual reality training simulators and real time visualization tools. The ideal candidate is a driven professional who is comfortable helping our team raise the bar of our design processes and products. The person hired for this position will be working closely with our team's product owners and user interface designer to ensure that we deliver polished, cohesive, and intuitive functionality in our products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product owners, stakeholders, and the development team to understand user needs and product goals.
• Design and prototype user interactions, and flows for real-time simulators and visualization tools, ensuring a unified and immersive experience that meets user needs and product vision.
• Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to iteratively improve interaction designs.
• Develop and maintain detailed design documentation, including wireframes, user flows, and interaction specifications.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure design concepts are accurately implemented and meet quality standards.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in interaction design and user experience best practices to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in interaction design, with a focus on real-time applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for real-time applications. VR/AR experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Experience with user testing and incorporating feedback to improve designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing and prototyping for 3D spaces and applications.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine is highly desirable.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance is required for ongoing employment in this position.
