Role: Software / Data Engineer

Duration: 6+ months contract

Location: 100% remote in LATAM

Job description:

We are seeking a talented Software/Data Engineer to join our product engineering team. You will work closely with a team of Data Scientists and Software Engineers to transform machine learning models into scalable, production-ready solutions.

In this role, you will develop and deliver data products using platforms such as Kafka, S3, and internal APIs. You'll be at the forefront of integrating generative AI and machine learning proofs of concept with our extensive talent acquisition data pool, driving innovative solutions that enhance our services. Your work will extend our Knowledge Graph by integrating internal data sources and augmenting existing data with advanced ML models, making data easily accessible for integration into end-user applications.

This role will allow you to work in a modern software engineering culture that is defined by:

2. Collaborative Team: Partner with a diverse group of professionals including Data Scientists, DevOps, and Product Managers to deliver groundbreaking solutions.

4. Impactful Work: Your contributions will directly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our customer’s talent acquisition processes, making a tangible difference in connecting people with their ideal vocations.

Ideally you have a strong background in software engineering and a passion for engineering and consuming data products. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and lean software development processes is essential to ensure smooth and efficient product development. Additionally, familiarity in cloud-based, data-centric applications is benefitial:

1. Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure, particularly in data storage and processing.

2. Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink.

3. API Development: Proficiency in designing and implementing robust and scalable APIs.

4. ETL Processes: Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.

5. Distributed Systems: Experience in designing and working with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
