Software/Database Developer

It's an exciting time for Skilled Wound Care; we are looking for motivated and innovative developers to help evolve our certified electronic health record (EHR) software. We are a rapidly expanding medical group that works with providers and Skilled Nursing Facilities across the country. Our system was designed from the ground up to fulfill the specialized needs of our practice, and now as we expand, we have begun shifting to a more robust secure and performant platform.

We are looking for experienced full stack developers to develop for a new platform and expand its capabilities and technical capacities. You will be responsible for learning, expanding, and maintaining existing software platforms with additional functionality to better serve our providers, customers, and stakeholders.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop within existing software platforms and infrastructure to add additional functionality as requested by users.
• Prepare and transfer data between warehouses, databases, forms, spreadsheets etc.
• Develop various front end applications in JavaScript/PHP/Python/HTML5/CSS/Bootstrap/Apache/Perl for user interaction and reporting.
• Maintain and develop within various backend technologies including but not limited to MySQL/Snowflake/MSSQL
• Help plan and execute further development on web and mobile devices.
• Generate reports on the fly and as requested by management and team members based on the available data
• Analyze trends and patterns in data.
• Identify and correct performance issues and bugs within our framework.
• Complete all projects and task in a timely manner and report any delays
• Document all coding and development tasks accordingly for easy identification later.
• Follow AGILE workflows and strict timelines as outlined by your direct manager.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Database Experience including warehousing and analytics: 3-5 Years
• Front end development experience (see languages/frameworks above): 3-5 years
• LAMP stack experience: 3-5 years
• iOS/Android development experience: 1-3 Years
• Mac/Windows/Linux experience: 2-3 Years
• Web Infrastructure Experience
• Information security best practices knowledge and experience
• Must be willing to travel to Los Angeles up to 6-8 times per year
• Must be willing to work West Coast hours
Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with Vue and CakePHP
• Database Experience including warehousing and analytics: 5-7 Years
• Front end development experience (see languages/frameworks above): 5-7 years
• LAMP stack experience: 5-7 years
• iOS/Android development experience: 2-3 Years
• Mac/Windows/Linux experience: 3-5 Years
• Web Infrastructure Experience

• Experience working with HIPAA/HI-TECH compliant policies and procedures
• Experience working in the healthcare industry
• Experience working on EHR software
• Full cycle development experience

Experience:

3-5 years software development/database management experience

Education:

Bachelors in Computer Science preferred
