We are seeking an experienced Software / DevOps Engineer to analyze, design, and implement strategies for continuous deployment of production and pre-production systems, and development and test pipelines. This includes the design and implementation of the necessary build, validation, and acceptance testing environments. In this role, you will Implement automated infrastructure capabilities such as backups, security tools, and monitoring. You will be responsible for collaborating with teammates and Mission Partners to develop mission need solutions. You'll be a critical member on a small team, responsible for bringing your high-level software engineering skills to bear on national security operations. You will monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes.

You'll be integrated into the team onsite at our customer's location. You may get to occasionally travel (CONUS or OCONUS) to support on-site needs for our end customers at their locations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability/experience in DevOps in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Active TS/SCI + Polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• 4-7 years of directly related experience in network infrastructure, database, cloud environments.
• Virtualization (e.g., vSphere ESXi) & Containerization (Docker)
• Familiarity with DevOps methodology and tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, or Ansible
• Familiarity with version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket, SVN, or CVS.
• Experience with Linux administration
• Clear understanding of APIs, particularly RESTful
• Excellent written and verbal communication, competent cross-team collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps paradigms
• Ability and desire to learn/master new tools for implementation/integration

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations, and security protocols.
• Experience with programming and scripting with languages like Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C++.
• Network administration familiarity
• Static analysis security testing (SAST), e.g., Coverity, Dynamic analysis security testing (DAST)
• Integrate with C/C++/Python APIs to build automated test cases and harnesses using one or more testing frameworks such as JUnit, Robot, etc.
• Extensive knowledge of standard computer hardware to include the ability to deconstruct/reconstruct hardware components
• Familiarity with the concept of Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) to define how hardware components will interface with remote cloud environments
• One or more of the following certifications: Cloud+, Security+, Network+, or CCNA

Salary Range:

$113,100.00 - $203,600.00
