We are currently seeking a talented User Interface Designer to join our team and help us create the next generation of virtual reality training simulators and real time visualization tools. The ideal candidate is a driven professional who is comfortable helping our team raise the bar of our design processes and products. The person hired for this position will be working closely with our team's product owners and interaction designer to ensure that we deliver polished, cohesive, and intuitive functionality in our products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the product owners, stakeholders, and the development team to understand user needs and product goals.
• Design visually engaging, polished, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for the real-time training simulators and visualization tools, ensuring a unified and immersive experience that meets user needs and product vision.
• Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to iteratively refine and improve visual designs.
• Develop and maintain visual design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and visual asset libraries.
• Create additional visual materials, such as icons, illustrations, and marketing collateral, to support the overall look and feel of the product.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure design concepts are accurately implemented and meet quality standards.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in UI design and visual design best practices to ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, User Interface Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in UI design, with a focus on VR applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating visually engaging and polished user interfaces for real-time platforms. Experience with VR applications a plus!
• Proficiency in design and graphic tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Experience with user testing and incorporating feedback to improve visual designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling and animation tools, such as Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max, is a plus.
• Familiarity with Unreal Engine is highly desirable.
• Experience in animation and video production is a plus.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.
• Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance is required for ongoing employment in this position.
