Solar Battery Technician

Engineering technicians will play an instrumental role in the success of Lunar Energy by helping to install, test, and service all of our key hardware and firmware products in both a lab and field environment.  We’re looking for someone to be both hands-on with our products as well as a leader to shape and manage a growing technician organization. We are looking for people who are passionate about a more sustainable and energy-independent future and want to make that vision a reality. An ideal candidate is someone who is excited to collaborate with a diverse and dedicated team.

Desired Skills:


  • 3-5 years of experience in the field with AC and/or DC electrical installations
  • Experience in the field installing solar panels and/or battery systems
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with other individuals in a team or project setting
  • You are self-motivated and able to work safely with little supervision, consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others.
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity; balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
  • Drive a box truck and forklift
  • (optional) journey level electricians license or equivalent

Our Compensation Philosophy: Our goal is to ensure that all Lunar Energy employees are fairly compensated. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The salary range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is: $40-$55hr USD.

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
